Program Vision

The Innovators program is where students step beyond guided learning and enter the world of real engineering and innovation.
They learn to think and act like young professionals: managing projects, solving complex problems, mentoring younger students, and building real solutions with real impact.

This level prepares them with pre-university technical knowledge, teamwork skills, and the confidence to tackle real-world challenges—whether in competitions, university, or their first tech job.

Topics & Classes
Engineering Fundamentals

  • Physics for Engineers: statics (free-body diagrams), dynamics (forces, motion), torque & power.

  • Materials & Manufacturing: solid mech, common materials, machining, tolerance.

Digital Design & Fabrication

  • CAD (Fusion 360 or equivalent): assemblies, constraints, drawings.

  • 3D Printing & CAM: slicing, infill/strength, jigs & fixtures, fit & tolerance.

Electronics & Embedded Systems

  • Circuits: Ohm’s law, series/parallel, power budgeting, protection.

  • Microcontrollers & I/O: Arduino/ESP32, sensors, motor drivers, PWM.

Software & Algorithms

  • Programming: Python/C++ foundations, structured design, debugging.

Business & Project Management

  • BOM & Purchasing: vendor comparison, shipping/lead time, total cost.

  • Budgeting & Costing: unit cost vs prototype, margin, simple ROI.

  • Project Management: work breakdown, Gantt/kanban, risk register, design reviews.

  • Communication: tech writing, slide decks, client pitches, judge Q&A.
